What’s your headline
Ten years from now, if someone were to write a story of your life, what would you want the headline to be?
Would you want it to be, Well She Made It Through?
Or, would you want it to be something grander?
If you read the story of your life today, would it be a story worth reading?
“Dream as if you’ll live forever, live as if you’ll die today.” – James Dean
Most of us are so busy making a living that we forget what we want our life to look like. We are so busy getting through the days that we forget we have the ability to write our own story.
What’s your story
Are you busy making a living, or are you designing and living your life? You know the life I’m writing about; the life you imagined when you were little.
Remember when you were little?
You weren’t focused on what you wanted to do. You were always focused on what you wanted to be.
What do you want to be?
Who do you want to be?
What is so big it scares you?
What is the story you want told about you?
What would the headline be?
3 Simple Steps
- Examine your life thus far – is it the life you want to live, or is it a life you feel you need to live?
- Think back to when you were little, what and who did you want to be?
- Take some time to write out the rest of your life. How do you want the story to end? What is the headline?
